UPDATE | Appeal following collision in Falmouth

We are appealing for the public's help to identify the person and motorcycle pictured in connection with a collision on Penmere Hill, Falmouth.

Officers were called at approximately 11.15pm on Monday 24 August 2026 following reports of a collision involving a ‘Beryl’ electric scooter.

As a result of the collision, the male rider of the e-scooter, a local man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries. He was airlifted to hospital for treatment, where he currently remains.

As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are keen to identify and speak with the rider of a motorcycle who may be able to assist with the investigation.
